He was Vice Chairman of the Irish Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and a member of the Corporate Governance focus group of the Shanghai British Chamber of Commerce.
In 2009 Simon was appointed professor at Shanghai JiaoTong University’s International Continuing Education Centre. He also lectured part-time to EMBAs at the prestigious Antai College of Economics & Management (ranked #7 globally by the Financial Times Executive MBA Ranking 2016).
